Tour Overview
Your adventure begins with a hotel pick-up at 8:00 am. After a short 45-minute drive, you’ll arrive at Materuni village for registration. A scenic hike will take you through tropical rainforest, coffee and banana farms, and traditional Chagga homesteads. Along the way, enjoy panoramic views of Kilimanjaro’s Kibo Peak and Moshi town.
The hike leads you to Materuni Waterfall — a spectacular 70-meter cascade surrounded by lush greenery. Take time to relax, swim in the crystal-clear pool, and capture unforgettable photos.
After the hike, you’ll step into the world of coffee with a guided farm-to-cup experience. Learn the traditional Chagga methods of cultivation, harvesting, roasting, and brewing. You’ll even get to roast and prepare your own cup of fresh organic coffee.
Finally, enjoy a hearty Chagga lunch, featuring local dishes and seasonal fruits — the perfect way to end the day
